Good Food for hypertension

Are you aware of the risk of hypertension, or high blood pressure? You know how to tell if you are in danger?

Unfortunately, there are many underlying causes of high blood pressure, or hypertension, and it is easy to overlook them in this busy world, modern.

But once you pay attention to hypertension, then you can find how to reduce or even completely control.

Normal reading for the average person is usually considered to be 120/80. But this will change during the day, so you can not take a single reading and base everything on that. You should have your blood pressure monitored on a series of lectures to get a truer picture of the state of your overall Helath.

Salt intake:

Look at the ingredients list of absolutely everything you put in your shopping basket on the next trip. Salt is often added to foods because it is a cheap way to loose it. But that does not mean it is good for you. Often, a single serving of a food package gives you more salt or sodium than you should have for a whole day. Poor diet

Another great thing. With being so busy modern world as many of us have the luxury of cooking our meals full of fresh ingredients all day? Well, this group is getting smaller and smaller throughout the day. And additives and salt and lack of basic vitality that you sometimes get in these foods simply do not fit body not how fresh food. Now, it may be impossible to eat fresh food all the time, but you should try to increase the proportion of fresh food you eat. Every little helps. Certain medications

Just 30 minutes a day can have a profound impact on the quality of your life, not to mention blood pressure. And really, who does not have 30 minutes a day?

Smoking:

This can cause arteries to restrict, which increases blood pressure. If possible, cut down. If you can quit smoking completely, which is even better, but remember that every little helps. Not available if you need help to quit, but find that you can not. Talk to your doctor or local pharmacy. You might even need to try and patch nicotine replacement.

Alcohol:

Glass of wine with dinner? Occasional beer with the boys? Do not bother. Life is too short. But if you drink a lot may need to consider whether you can reduce the fun. Again, doing something is better than doing nothing.

Suffer from excessive stress:

This is a tough one. You may not be able to stop your boss from causing you stress, but you can look for activities and ways to reduce stress. Consider yoga, exercise, meditation or stress management, if stress is a major factor for you. Stress understand repetitive stress, systemic. Not occasional bad day all I get from time to time.

As you can see there are lots of factors that could cause blood pressure to increase. The list may seem overwhelming, but should not address everything at once. The first thing is to have your blood pressure checked by your doctor and then start making small changes. As you get used to a change you can introduce another, until finally have control over their own health. And finally, remember that blood pressure must be perfect to do better than having terrible blood pressure. Every little helps.
