What is blood pressure?
Blood pressure is the force of blood pushing against artery walls. Unless otherwise indicated, refers to systemic blood pressure blood pressure. Systemic blood pressure is the pressure in large arteries that deliver blood to all parts of the body other than the lungs. Blood pressure measurements are given in millimeters of mercury or universal mmHg.
Blood pressure is always represented as a combination of two numbers, systolic and diastolic. Systolic is the pressure when the heart beats, or pump blood. Diastolic pressure is the pressure between heartbeats, when the heart is resting or.

What is normal blood pressure?

However, for most waking hours, blood pressure remains beautiful as when you are sitting or standing still. Pre-hypertension is somewhat misleading. Although you do not have hypertension, you have high blood pressure. Also, with pre-hypertension should use exercise and diet to try to reduce tension. Stage 1 Hypertension
means that are at risk of heart attack and stroke. Also with Stage 1 Hypertension, such as pre-hypertension, you should try to reduce tension through exercise and diet. If after 6 months, the pressure still falls into the category Stage 1, one or more prescription drugs should be used to reduce the pressure. Stage 2 Hypertension
means that blood pressure is under control. You may even be hospitalized and monitored until the pressure can be reduced. Stage 2 Hypertension requires mostly at least two prescription drugs to reduce pressure to acceptable levels. You will also need to use exercise and diet to maintain pressure return, and maximize the effects of the medication.
