Studies have shown that people who eat foods rich in potassium such as bananas, dates, potatoes, raisins and tend to have lower blood pressure.

For those who need to lower blood pressure, the Committee recommended to limit their consumption of salt, even more as recommended by their doctor.

One of the major recommendations of the commission for people who need to lower blood pressure is to manage their weight. Also, those who need to lower blood pressure should avoid more than two alcoholic drinks per day.
