Neurology is one branch of medicine which deals with functions, anatomy and organic disorder of the brain, nerves and nervous system. Diseases such as Parkinson's disease, stroke patients, multiple sclerosis, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy, migraine headaches, sleep disorders, brain and spinal cord tumors and other neurological medical emergencies can be dealt with in accordance with neurology. Neurology practice physician who is known as a neurologist.
Neurology focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of practical human nervous system. The nervous system controls and coordinates the human body. The nervous system is divided into parts, such as mentioned below:

Central nervous system: It consists of the brain and spinal cord. The central nervous system is responsible for receiving information from the body and sends signals and instructions. Brain carry information and communicate with the body through the spinal cord and nerves. The brain helps us think, imagine, feel, remember and recall of new training to act or behave in a particular way in a given situation

Human spinal cord is a bundle of nerves and every nerve is a bundle of thousands of neurons. These nerves connect the brain to the body.

Peripheral nervous system: It contains nerves and cables. The job of the peripheral nervous system is to carry messages from the brain to the body. Neurons send messages in the form of electrical impulse traveling from one neuron to another to keep the body functioning.

Endocrine System: It is a hormone. It works with both the body and brain to maintain the system in the human body in order and controlling body growth, body temperature, hunger etc. Endocrine glands is driven, such as the pituitary, thyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands and parathyroid glands

Neurological symptoms are so obvious and endless as is the nervous system that controls sensation and behavior of human beings. Symptoms may include loss of coordination, poor memory, speech disorders, seizures, headaches and more. If a person experiences any of these symptoms, he should immediately consult a doctor. The neurologist in order to diagnose the patient can put tests such as MRI, EEG Spinal Tap, CAT scan, nerve head and neck examination, EMG / NCCV tests of speech, language, memory and sensation etc.

However, sometimes overlaps other field of medicine neurology. Like in case of Parkinson's dementia, depression post stroke, mood disorders in Alzheimer's patients, neurologists must work in tandem with psychologists to provide the best kind of treatment for patients.
